All submissions to the Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics (JMEB) must be made online via the Journal's Editorial Management System (JEMS). This dedicated online system helps authors to keep track of their manuscript from submission through publication. Before uploading a manuscript, first-time users should register in JEMS and create a user ID and password. After registration, the author will receive an automatic email within 12 hrs of registration confirming their registration in the system. The account will then be active and the user can upload manuscript. JEMS will guide the user through the process of submitting and uploading their manuscript. If the manuscript is accepted, it will be sent for evaluation by external reviewers. After the external review process, the Editor-in-Chief will make one of the following decisions:
JMEB is committed to the timely assessment of manuscripts. The peer-review process takes approximately 8-10 weeks for the external review.
When submitting a manuscript to JEMS, the author may suggest external reviewers for his manuscript. When recommending an external reviewer, keep in mind the following:
Please note that the Editors are not required to invite the recommended external reviewers suggested by the author.

All manuscripts must use SI (metric) units in the text, figures, and tables. Manuscripts should include the following information:
Article Types
File Types
The manuscript file size should not exceed 6 MB. If the text plus figures exceeds 6 MB, then figures may be submitted separately. The manuscript should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).
